A new Italian restaurant and bar, Tazzina, opened last Thursday on August 21st on 102-15 Metropolitan Ave. Jason Zukas, who has appeared on the Food Network show “Chopped,” moved the restaurant from its Glendale location to its roomier venue on Metropolitan Ave.
The restaurant mainly features comfort Italian food, but with a twist. The food ranges from classic dishes like gnocchi and risottos to novelties like roasted bone marrow and tripe.
As for the atmosphere, Zukas described it as “very romantic, chic and definitely very sexy,” but balanced with “an old school feel.”
