The historic Forest Hills Stadium is welcoming more acts for its spring and summer concert series.
In addition to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The xx and Sigur Rós, the stadium will play host to hitmakers such as Jack Johnson, Dispatch and My Morning Jacket.
The Chainsmokers will also play two shows: Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10. Every online ticket purchase comes with 1 physical CD of the group’s debut album.
Johnson, documentary filmmaker and a former professional surfer, is better known these days for his soft rock and acoustic genres.
Dispatch’s stop in Forest Hills is part of their first national tour in five years. The indie band, originally from Boston, released popular albums such as “Bang Bang” and “Silent Steeples.”
For My Morning Jacket, the concert will be the band’s only performance in New York this year. Their music features rock with country roots and hints of R&B.
And after The xx sold out their May 19 Forest Hills performance, they’ve added a new show on Saturday, May 20. Tickets are still available.
All shows are currently on sale, with the exception of Jack Johnson and Dispatch. Visit ForestHillsStadium.com for more information.
