At the end of last week, Mumford & Sons graced the stage at Forest Hills Stadium.
While Mumford & Sons played to two sold out shows on Thursday and Friday, Friday night just may have been the best concert of the weekend. Marcus Mumford, the band’s lead singer, went as far as saying that the crowd was the most enthusiastic crowd that the band had ever played for in New York.
Song performed included “White Blank Page,” “Dust Bowl Dance,” “Little Lion Man,” “I Will Wait” and “The Wolf.”
Mumford & Sons also performed some new songs from their new mini album, “Johannesburg,” which was released on Friday as well. The albums documents their earlier experiences in South Africa. Additional performers throughout the night included BÓRNS, Beatenberg and Baaba Maal.
During one of the songs, Mumford quickly left the stage and spent time with fans near the stage. Then, he ran up through various sections and made his way to the very top row of Forest Hills Stadium, stopping to take photos and giving out high fives to people along the way.
The band also played an encore after fans stomped for more. There were some complaints on social media Thursday night when the band ended their show quite early, so perhaps they made up for it during Friday’s show.
Disclosure performed on Saturday night. Dolly Parton will be performing this Saturday.

Hi Maria,
I sat in Portal 8 Row OO Seat 16. They were definitely good (bleacher) seats but if you could get seats closer, I’d recommend it! Hope this helps!
