Sample local Forest Hills eateries at Taste of the World

On Sunday, March 13, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs RC Church will be serving the world on a platter during its 5th annual food festival.
The festival will bring together a number of local Forest Hills eateries and the admission price will cover samplings from over a dozen of the restaurants. These include Tuscan Hills/Ovo Sodo, Jack & Nellie’s La Vigna, Manor Oktoberfest, Haveli, Wafa’s, Crofu Grill and East Ocean Palace.
This year’s festival will also feature newcomers to the neighborhood, such as Violet’s Bake Shoppe and Cipollina Italian Market.
The event will run on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Advanced tickets are $20 while tickets at the door are $25. Additionally, 3 tickets are sold for $50. If ordering tickets in advance, call or visit the rectory during business hours for tickets.
OLQM is located at 110-06 Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills.
