Forest Hills Asian Association march in LNY parade
Views: 0
Last Sunday, February 14, during one of the coldest days of the year, the Forest Hills Asian Association (FHAA) marched in Chinatown’s Lunar New Year Parade. Wong, president of the FHAA, said that although it was extremely cold, the organization had a great experience marching with other organizations. They also passed out FAIB red envelopes with mini pocket sized calendars designed by Ivy Shih Leung, a supporter of the FHAA. Prior to the parade, the FHAA visited the Chinese Community Center of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association and met with the FDNY Phoenix Society. FDNY Fire Commissioner Dan Nigro was also in attendance.

FHAA members Tracy Lam, Kaleena Ma, Edwin Wong and Thomas Hou was joined by David Lin of the FDNY Phoenix Society at the Chinese Community Center of the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association.
