Police are officially investigating seven suspicious fires in Forest Hills, from Oct. 20 to Dec. 6 in connection with the same suspect. This morning, they released new surveillance footage in hopes that the public can help identify the suspect. A man seen riding a motorcycle in previous images, is no longer a person of interest in the case. In the video below, from the incident on Sunday, Nov. 8 at about 7:20 p.m., the suspect has his face covered and is wearing gloves. It also appears, according to police, that he removes a firearm from his left ankle and transfers it to his front pocket.
