unnamed Join New York Times and Wall Street Journal journalist Charles Kaiser for a discussion of his new book centering around the French Resistance and World War II on the 70th anniversary of the end of the war.

The book, The Cost of Courage: The True Story of One Family in the French Resistance, follows the true story of Andre Boulloche and his sisters in Northern France who fought throughout the end of war, even though a few of them were sent to concentration camps. After decades of keeping quiet about the war, Kasier has helped the family break their silence. Their story is truly remarkable and tells of great sacrifice.

The event will be at the Central Queens YM & YWHA, at 67-09 108 Street in Forest Hills at 1:30 p.m. All events are open to the general public, with an $8 donation requested.
