Con Edison is giving out dry ice at Forest Park

Con Edison has set up a Mobile Information Center, located in the George Seuffert Bandshell parking lot at Forest Park (19 Forest Park Dr.), where staff will be distributing dry ice to customers until 9 p.m.
More than 550 households served by Con Edison in the Forest Hill, Rego Park and Kew Gardens area are still left without power after Tropical Storm Isaias ripped through the city, according the provider’s latest figures. Power is expected to be fully restored in the area by Sunday night.
Winds recorded between 60 and 70 miles-per-hour Tuesday left fallen trees and residual damage scattered throughout Forest Hills.
