Community Board 6 holds monthly meeting tonight

Tonight, Wednesday, October 14 at 6:30 p.m., Queens Community Board 6 will host its first monthly meeting since NY State imposed new COVID-19 restrictions on Forest Hills, Rego Park and Kew Gardens.

District Manager Frank P. Gulluscio and Community Board 6 Chair Alexa Weitzman will give a briefing on developments surrounding the recent uptick in cases in Central Queens, as well as discus budget priorities for the 2022 fiscal year. The board will also vote on co-naming the 68th Avenue and 108th Street for Rabbi Asher Murciano, a permit for a new Planet Fitness on Queens Boulevard, an extension of term of variance for a building at 61-01 Alderton St. and three liquor license applications.
