The Queens County Young Democrats will be hosting a meeting tomorrow in light of the recent presidential election.
Discussions include the future as young people, a chapter and members of the Democratic party.
“Last Tuesday’s results were far from what we imagined,” said Stacey A. Eliuk, Queens County Young Democrats president in a letter to members. “They reveal things about the American public, but they also reveal things about us. As a party, we need to learn from our mistakes, and come together to expand our metaphoric umbrella – to better understand each other, and more effectively reach out to protect those who have been left behind.”
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the discussions begin at 7:30 p.m.
The meeting will take place at Cobblestone Pub at 117-18 Queens Blvd. in Kew Gardens.
