LIRR making extra stops in Forest Hills this weekend for big events

The MTA announced today that the LIRR is making extra stops at Forest Hills station this weekend, October 8-9, to accommodate fans heading to concerts at Forest Hills Stadium.
On Saturday, October 8, the stadium will hosting the FOLD experience, featuring Bette Midler, Earth Wind & Fire, The Village People, Nile Rogers and more. The next day, on October 9, Van Morrison will be performing at Forest Hill Stadium. The MTA shared the following advisory:
LIRR customers are advised to buy round-trip rail tickets in advance and be ready to present them when exiting the train. Tickets will be collected at Forest Hills Station. Door to the venue open at 3:30 p.m. Show time is 5 p.m. both days. All trains, both eastbound and westbound, passing Forest Hills from 2:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. and again between 9 p.m. and midnight will stop at Forest Hills. Remember, in order to exit at the shorter Forest Hill Station platform, customers must be in one of the first four cars.
