Forest Hills subway station to be completely renovated

If you commute to work or school via the 67th Avenue subway station, servicing the M and R trains, you’re going to need to find an alternative way to travel. That’s because the Forest Hills station will be one of 30 stations citywide to be renewed.

While there is no word regarding when the station will close down, the renewal project can take from six months up to a year. According to Governor Cuomo, the majority of the 30 stations should be completed by 2018 but they will all be finished by 2020.
