Former Parkway Hospital is up for sale

After closing its doors as a hospital in 2008, the former Parkway Hospital building in Forest Hills is up for sale.
There isn’t an official asking price, but developer Ilio Mavlyanov has put the building on the market as a residential conversion on a 1.3-acre site at 70-35 113th St. The property is expected to sell somewhere in the mid-$20 million range.
Mavlyanov’s Jasper Venture Group acquired the 107,000 square-foot building in 2012. As recently as last year, the group planned to do a condo conversion themselves, but they’ve decided to list now.
Once sold, the former Parkway Hospital building seems like it would be heading in the same direction as Jamaica’s former Mary Immaculate Hospital residential conversion.
