The Forestdale organization, located at 67- 35 112th Street in Forest Hills, Queens, renovating a large 
space that will become their new Teaching Kitchen. The kitchen will be used for hosting cooking classes and community events.

Forestdale youth will learn not just kitchen skills, nutrition and budgeting; but will expand their palettes as well as their horizons. Forestdale’s mission has always been to ensure that children have the fundamental skills they need to thrive and live independently. That includes learning how to cook and eat healthy food.
What will your gift buy?
$1,000 – 1 refrigerator
$600 – 1 oven
$500 – field trips to a green market, supermarket, or professional chef’s kitchen
$200 – 1 blender, 1 food processor or 1 mixer
$100 – 1 complete starter set of pots, pans and
mixing bowls
$50 – 1 cooking class
$25 – 1 set of kitchen utensils (silverware,
spatulas, tongs)
