CP Crusaders enjoyed a 27-12 halftime lead thanks to 17 points from David and eight from Anthony L. The high scorers for the Cougars were Justice with 17 points and N’faly with eight.

Elite 84 just had too much height and speed, pulling away in the second quarter. The high scorers for Elite 84 were Ruben with 20 points and Anferny with 16. The high scorers for Shots Fired were Dylan with 11 points and Glizer with seven.

The Cougars hit a last-second shot to win the game in a tight contest. The high scorers for Cougars were Matthew with 12 points and Justice with 11. The high scorers for Elite 84 were Sly with 16 points and Aeneas with six.

Kaback All Stars 54

NYC Apes 44


A 17-point third quarter pushed Kaback All Stars past the NYC Apes. Player of the game Darnell Childs had 16 points and eight assists for the All Stars, while Vito Masi sealed the game with four points late in the fourth quarter. For the NYC Apes, Matthew Rosa had 13 points and six rebounds and kept his team to within three points at halftime, but a three-pointer and a layup by William Heredia in the third quarter kept the All Stars in front. The game was within reach midway through the fourth quarter, but Kaback played pressure defense and didn’t allow an easy shot. Both teams are in action this coming week.
