Dear Editor,

In Bellerose, we have three homeless shelters within a four-to-five block radius. Is that fair?

How close is a homeless shelter to Gracie Mansion or the borough president's home in Forests Hills? How close to the homes of our state senators, assembly or council members?

Once all our elected officials have a homeless shelter near their home, then the rest of us can't complain.
