Dear Editor,

Every day, 22 veterans take their own lives. That's a suicide every 65 minutes. As shocking as this number is, it may actually be higher.

On Veterans Day and every day, thank veterans for their service to our country. And for the numerous vets who couldn't bear the mental anguish caused by what they had experienced, please say a prayer.
