As the nation celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we should reflect on race relations in our country. While there have been significant strides, much more work needs to be done.
The recent surge in hate crimes across the nation is certainly proof of that. Today, we are still fighting to make Dr. King's dream of racial equality in our great nation come to fruition.
It is time for all people of all races and ethnicities to unite to make our great nation even more greater, and to stamp out all the hatred and violence in our society.
