Have you ever noticed the many unattended, idling vehicles spewing out their toxins? Despite laws, these toxic fumes flow unabated. Why?
The current law now limits vehicle idling to no more than three minutes, or one minute near a school.
The current law is not enforceable. The police and traffic agents cannot ticket unattended vehicles left with the engine idling for extended periods of time.
In the interest of cleaner air and helping to mitigate the breathing problems of folks who have lung conditions, could we not begin to address this threat to our health?
