Organic Communications is a small boutique marketing agency located in Kew Gardens that helps bring small businesses alive with strategies that incorporate an entrepreneur’s vision.

The company recently launched the “Kickstart the Restart” giveaway.

Kickstart the Restart is asking businesses, organizations, community leaders, and entrepreneurs to submit their ideas, and the Ideas That Matter creative team will work with the winning individual, team, or organization to turn their idea into a custom website, logo, social media supports, and public relations strategy to help them share and help it grow.

The winner will have three months of ongoing support from the award-winning creative team. The entry to apply is December 31.

“We are focusing on the people with the ability to deliver on the idea that they’re proposing,” said Michelle Molin, founder of Organic Communications, the group behind the Ideas That Matter program.

One client of theirs made a huge turnaround amid the pandemic.

“GraBar Fish was a wholesale fish distributor in Long Island, but they managed to convert to retail by becoming a delivery service for fish and help people stay home instead of going out to shop,” Molins said.

Molin’s team helped GraBar Fish shift their fleet of trucks to making home deliveries instead of restaurant deliveries. They quickly shifted their communications so customers would be able to find them.

Molin’s inspiration for Ideas That Matter was to help small to mid-size businesses get the help they need to get their name out there and get back to making a livelihood.

“We want to get people excited about moving again,” Molin said.

“It’s been a crazy year, and the creators of the world, from artists, designers, and programmers, to small business leaders, nonprofits and so many more, haven’t been nurturing their big idea to make a splash when the world goes back to work,” added Fred Wellman, Ideas That Matter partner and public relations strategist.

Even with the unprecedented difficulties of 2020 and its impact on businesses and the nation, the Ideas That Matter team believes inventive new ideas are still being created by imaginative minds every day. The people and organizations coming up with them just need opportunities to break through the noise and clutter, be heard, and make an impact.
